Established in 2008, Heritage Stables is owned and operated by Jake & Katy Drummond, along with their children Reese & Palmer.

Heritage Stables is located on Heritage Drive, a scenic road winding along the beautiful Rideau Canal.  The 5 km stretch of Heritage Drive was voted a wonder of Lanark County for its stately stone homesteads and early barns, some of which rank among the earliest architectural structures in Lanark County.

Overlooking the historic Rideau Canal, Heritage Stables is less that a 40 minute drive from Ottawa, the nation’s capital, and the U.S. – Canada border.  Located only 3 km from Merrickville, a village that has officially been named one of Canada’s Most Beautiful Village by Communities in Bloom.  With more designated heritage buildings than any other Ontario community of like-size, Merrickville is a unique and vibrant Victorian village to visit after your stopover here at Heritage Stables.

We offer many services including boarding, horse training, riding lessons, summer camps, and birthday parties.

Please contact us at any time if you are interested in anything Heritage Stables has to offer.  You can visit our Facebook page for additional information and photos.
